A most elegantly designed solid silver sauce boat. Wonderfully shaped with a lovely scalloped edge and no engraving or embossing to the silver body. It has a nicely shaped handle and sits on the three sturdy hoof feet. On one side next to the handle are the clear and crisp hallmarks for the London Assay office with a date mark for 1914 and Lion Passant indicating fine sterling silver. The silver maker''s mark is also very clear: R&W Sorley.
Condition: This sauce boat is in great antique condition. There are no visible dents or dings to the highly polished silver.
