Woodbridge Antiques has dated this piece to the 1960s.
The jug is designed in a lovely baluster style with a neat scroll handle to one side and stands on one circular foot. The matching bowl is also baluster shaped and stands on the same style foot. Both of the items are fully hallmarked on the base for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1967 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. The silver maker's mark if also clear for S J Rose & Son.

A fabulous set , where the quality of the craftmanship if evident.
Condition: Both of the items are in great antique collector's condition.
