Victorian Mahogany Glazed Antique Bookcase on Cupboard

This Victorian Mellow mahogany Antique Glazed Bookcase / Display Cabinet On Cupboard circa, 1890 has a moulded cornice above two glazed doors with key with working lock and lovely arched mouldings. The interior has three adjustable shelves. The lower section has two drawers with moulded edge and the original Arts and Crafts design handles, above two cupboard doors with arched mouldings. The interior has a central fixed shelf. This wonderful antique bookcase has beautiful carved corbels and stands on a plain plinth, it has the usual charm and character, minor old repairs of a true antique and splits into two sections for easy removal. The Mahogany has aged to a mellow shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
