Antique George III Style Mahogany Cabriole Leg Stool

An antique George III style serpentine sided cabriole leg stool with cabriole legs and period tapestry upholstery. C.1890. Well shaped moulded top figured timber serpentine sides forming the inset for the drop in horse hair upholstered seat, covered in the original hand worked tapestry upholstery. Sat on moulded cabriole legs with decorative carved shell design to the tops. Excellent condition with no damage or repairs, good colour and patina. Measures 24" wide x 19" deep x 18.5" high.
