Antique Early Victorian Mahogany Glazed Bookcase C1840 Wdb4754/12.5

Description

This is an early victorian mahogany glazed bookcase and dating form around 1840. It has a polished mahogany top with moulded edge and frieze above two arched glazed doors with ivory lock escutcheon and original working key. Internally there are two fixed shelves and the back internally is paper lined to the backing boards. It is moulded to the base and stands on bracket feet.

A lovely bookcase in very good condition with a deep colour and patination to the mahogany.

Measures: 42" high X 15" deep X internal depth 12" X 45" wide

Height of top shelf 12" height between two bottom shelves 10.5"
