Danish sterling silver silver pendant. 1960s. By the silversmith Hermann Siersbol, who started his business in 1948 in Kastrup near Copenhagen. This hand hammered silver and silver gilt piece was actually made for use as a mans tie, but wears beautifully as a large ladies pendant. Can be worn on a silver torque, silver chain, or silk ribbon.
 
The pendant measures 14.5 cm long x 5cm wide at the top, narrowing to 3.5cm at the bottom. Weight 45.8 g.
