An absolutely superb pair of William IV solid silver Asparagus Tongs. These tongs are a good heavy gauge silver and are really sturdy. Exceptionally attractive they have superb ornate pierced decoration, with plain polished silver handles and an heraldic armorial at the top of the handle symbolising a stork on a crown. The tongs are fitted with a central support for tension enabling movement.
