Large Arthur Simspon 1930's Oak Open Bookcase

A super quality, solid oak open bookcase made in the thirties at the Arthur Simpson workshops in Kendal. Simpson is known for his high quality and craftsmanship from the Atys & Crafts period through to the fifties. This Simpson bookcase has fixed oak book shelves, all having hinged oak dust flaps. In very good, clean condition, the bookcase has wonderful, solid walnut backboards and it is all in the original finish. A good, large sized bookcase that has two Arthur Simpson makers labels.
