A very unusual brass inlaid Regency rosewood and marble topped open and enclosed dwarf bookcase. Of double inverted breakfront form with conforming Carrera marble top above the brass inlaid frieze. The centre having 2 glazed doors and flanked by 2 smaller open bookcases with brass inlaid adjustable shelves. The recessed stiles fronted by unusual brass columns which retain the original gilding and the whole raised on a plinth base. Condition - Very good, fully cleaned and waxed.
