George III Silver Sifter Spoon London 1785 Rare Duty Mark

A rare George III silver sifter spoon. Lovely proportions (13 cm long). The spoon has a nicely pierced bowl. There is a lightly engraved armorial to the top of the spoon terminal and on the back are the very clear and crisp hallmarks for London 1785 plus a rare incuse duty mark along with the silver maker''s mark: Richard Crossley.
 
 
 
A superb early item and in great antique collector''s condition. No dents or repairs.
