A very fine, heavy gauge Silver Salt Pot. This is an exceptional Pot. The circular bowl has a wavy-line decorated border and stands on three very attractive and solid hoof feet. The interior of the bowl is gilded in a gorgeous deep yellow. Underneath the bowl are the clear hallmarks for the London Assay office with a date mark for 1899 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. (There is also a reference number on the base ''1985'').
The craftmanship of the silversmith is evident in this piece!
Condition: In super antique condition.
