An elegant solid silver Cream / Milk Jug. This baluster shaped jug stand on a circular base. It has a sparrow beak pourer and lovely shaped handle. The body of the Jug is a plain polished silver with no engraving or embossing apart from the clear, crisp hallmarks on one side for the London Assay Office with a date mark of 1922 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. The maker''s mark is also visible for Wakely & Wheeler.
Please note that because the surface of the Jug is highly polished silver the images show other reflections when photographed.
A particularly stylish Cream Jug which feels nice and sturdy and a good heavy gauge silver.
Condition: In lovely condition with no dents or scratches.
