Fine Cased Edwardian Silver Christening Set

An exceptionally pretty solid silver Edwardian christening set comprising fork, spoon and napkin ring, all in the lovely original leatherette case. This set is decorated with delightful engraving to each of the three pieces. All bear the very clear hallmarks for the Sheffield Assay office with a date mark for 1908 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. Also visible are the silver maker''s marks: James Deakin & Sons. This set is free from any engraved initials and there is an empty cartouche in the centre of the napkin ring.
 
 
 
The case is lovely with a gorgeous blue satin and velvet interior.
 
 
 
This fabulous set would make a perfect gift for a christening, naming ceremony or new baby!
