Description

A particularly superbly designed item of Arts & Crafts silver. The stunning design comprises a planished silver bowl attached to a planished silver base by three iconic arts & crafts style legs. it is a wonderful example of this aesthetic movement and the quality of both the style and the craftmanship is very apparent.

Clear hallmarks are visible on the underneath of the top bowl for the London Assay Office with date mark for 1905 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. The maker's mark is also clear: Carrington & Co.

Conditon: In lovely condition; no dents or dings.
