Paul Vincze was born in Hungary in 1907 and is known for his modernist designs of the time on coins and medals. His reputation was heightened when two medals were struck in 1952 to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth. His sitters include Sir Winston Churchill and Pope Paul VI, amongst many other high profile people.
