Description

Superb French Green Patinated Bronze entitled Basset Anglais by Antoine Louis Barye (1796-1895) cast by Ferdinand Barbedienne, late 19th century. Signed ‘Barye’ imprssed ‘F Barbedienne Fondeur (Paris), with impressed number to underside 16622, underscored number 6 and number 1, and hand written number 3480.

Very good condition, excellent green patina, minor age related wear.
