After Marius Jean Antonin Mercie. 1845 / 1916. Standing 47 cm.

Of good height, with a superb patina, and no losses, additions, or over cleaning.

Modelled as a youthful David, purposely standing astride his sling. This standing figure would make a fine addition to a collection or simply to add interest and decor to a fine home.
