Superb Lindisfarne Pattern Silver Dish London 1950

A superb solid silver Dish, beautifully decorated with a border around the circumference of the dish in the wonderful Lindisfarne pattern, with a splendid plain polished silver centre. The dish stands on one circular foot and the back is a plain polished silver. Very clear and crisp hallmarks are visible on the back for the London Assay Office with a date mark for 1950 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. The silver maker''s mark is also visible for: Reid & Sons.
A true example of beauty - the Lindisfarne pattern is exceptional and the shape is so very stylish!
Condition: In lovely collector''s condition. There are some very tiny surface dings that are only visible when the dish is moved in certain angles and because the surface is so highly polished; they are mentioned for accuracy only and do not detract from this item.
Hallmarks: London 1950 by Reid & Sons.
