Fine Pair Of Early 19th Century French Empire Candlesticks

A fine pair of early 19th Century French Late Empire period heavy gauge ormolu and patinated bronze candlesticks of superb quality. Each having a deep, almost black, patinated campana-form urn style candle holder with original bobeche; gilt bronze Egyptian palm collar with patinated fluted column sitting on gilt bronze base decorated with neoclassical relief designs and socle, and three elaborately leaf-capped lion paw feet on tripod base. France, circa 1820.
