What can only be described as a superb solid silver Toast Rack. Lovely proportions and a good heavy gauge of silver, it does not feel flimsy when picked up and stands on four sturdy feet. It has a nice circular handle at the top and four compartments.
This exceptional toast rack is made even more collectable by the special hallmarks These are for the London Assay Office with a date mark for 1935, Lion Passant and silver maker''s mark: Carrington & Co, additonally, it also bears the commemorative mark for King George V''s Jubilee!
