Early 19th Century English Regency single patinated bronze Athenienne candlestick for a window or alcove in the manner of Thomas Hope. Fine example, conceived in the form of a Roman Athenniene tripod alter with paw feet. The original pattern for this candlestick was introduced around 1800 at Hope''s Duchess Street House. Excellent condition. English, circa 1825.
