Spectacular Gillows Golden Oak Antique Glazed Bookcase on Cupboard

This Spectacular 19th Century Gillows Golden Oak Antique Glazed Bookcase on Cupboard dates from ca. 1870. It has an inverted breakfront moulded cornice above two glazed doors and reeded sides with quality carved flowers. The interior has three adjustable shelves. This sits above a moulded top with two drawers having the most spectacular turned reeded handles and is stamped Gillow & Co. It has two cupboard doors with moulded panels and the interior has one adjustable shelf. This quality antique bookcase stands on an inverted break-fronted plinth, splits into two sections for removal, it comes with wonderful charm and character and has aged to a golden Oak shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
