Super pair of late 19th Century Rococo style, Louis XV figural gilt bronze candlesticks. Foliate cast candle cups with pineapple terminals held aloft by kneeling mythological Amazon figures, one in a wild goatskin and the other a lionskin. Both mounted on an open work rocaille (Rococo) circular base. Associated period painted and gilded Rococo style wooden plinths. France, circa 1880.
