Set of Silver & Enamel Cased Coffee Spoons Birmingham 1957

A very pretty cased set of 6 silver and enamel coffee spoons, all fully hallmarked Birmingham 1957 with silver maker's mark: Turner & Simpson Ltd.

The enamel colours are stunning: violet, green, sky blue, yellow, deep blue and pink.The spoons come in the original leatherette case.

These spoons are in great condition, however, the bowls would have originally been gilded and this has worn on most of the spoon bowls, which are now silver.

There is a very small amount of damage to the enamel on the dark blue spoon and the pink enamel spoon is very slightly faded in places. I point these out for accuracy. This minimal damage does not detract from the very attractive appearance of this set.The original leatherette case is in great used condition.
