This is a late 19th Century Continental silver filigree miniature sewing or work table. The lid rises to reveal a compartmentalized interior of six sections. It is raised on end supports joined by a barley twist stretcher. It bears no makers marks or hallmarks.
It was possibly made as dolls house furniture.
It is important to note that the table is missing the feet from one side so will not stand properly.
It weighs 7g / 0.24 oz t.
