Description

Very good early 19th century mahogany cabinet bookcase, made circa 1830-1840.in the reign of william IV, the top section is divided down the centre with three adjustable shelves in each side with rounded columns to the sides of the top and to the base. The whole piece standing on turned mahogany feet. The slim drawer features a desk with a green baize writing surface as shown in the picture with the best flame mahogany used in the construction of this attractive bookcase . It retains a good colour and is in good antique condition throughout
