Bookcase Secretaire Outstanding George III Mahogany Holkham Hall C1810

Here we have an outstanding George III Mahogany secretaire bookcase c1810. As you can see the bookcase has fantastic colour and patina. The bookcase is from The Red House at Holkham Hall estate in Norfolk we have provenance. There is a moulded pediment to the top and a pair of astragal glazed doors below. The doors retain the original glass and have beautiful arched tops. There is a brass rail to the centre and the original lock and key. The top section has two fully adjustable shelves. The bottom section seperates and houses a stunning secretaire in the top drawer. The secretaire has a configuartion of Rosewood drawers with Oak linings. The drawers have their original turned handles. There are three further drawers all with cockbeaded edges, Oak linings and beautiful brass drop handles. There are wonderful outswept bracket feet to the base. A stunning period George III Mahogany bookcase secretaire in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 83 inches high 39 wide and 19.5 deep.
