A very good quality, rare model antique oak bookcase by Heals of London around 1915-20.
The Heals antique cupboard base has two drawers over two solid panelled doors and the cupboard stands on square legs. Made in two parts, the top bookcase locates onto the cupboard with original, twisting oak pegs beneath to secure the two parts together. Lovely oak egg shaped handles and the Heals of London round makers label is inset into a drawer. A rarely seen model, in such good condition and made in lovely proportions.
