For your consideration is this very stylish Modernist Dress Clip by Jakob Bengel. Dating to the 1930's this is a very innovative and individual piece of jewellery, aesthetically characterised by the lightness in the design. Silvered hammered Metal with half circle blue Galalith centre accent. This is a great size and works well for day and evening wear. ideal for coats, scarfs, hats, bags even shoes. Condition is very good .

Jakob Bengel was a chain and costume jewellery factory, founded by Jakob Bengel in 1873 in Idar-Oberstein, Germany. Until 1920, the company specialised in the production of watch chains and chatelaines. In the 1920's and 1930's, it became one of the leading manufacturers of fashion jewellery in the Art Deco style
