Cased Silver Egg Cup & Spoon Birmingham 1963

Superb solid silver egg cup and spoon in original case. The egg cup is very attractive with a lovely raised border around the top and the base of the stand. The spoon is a lovely simple design with no decoration. Hallmarks are visible on both the egg cup and the spoon for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1963. The silversmith's maker's mark is also clear for William Adams Ltd

 

The set comes in the original black leatherette case with guilded scroll decoration to the lid, and has an attractive brass catch. The interior is lined with black velvet and cream satin.

Condition: Both the egg cup and spoon are in great antique condition. The original box is also in great antique condition, lovely and clean on both the outside and inside
