A superb, Edwardian, miniature sterling silver Tyg Cup. Of Lilliputian proportions (height: 3.3 cm approx). The cup stands on a circular stand base and has three nicely decorated loop handles, each featuring a diminutive heart at the end of each handle (see images). Hallmarks are very clearly visible for the Sheffield Assay Office with a date mark for 1904 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver. The silver maker''s mark is also clear for J & J Maxfield Ltd.
Fabulous silver miniature in lovely antique condition. There is a tiny dent to one side which we mention for accuracy only and does not detract from this item.
