Rare Set Of 4 Silver Ladles London 1855 By Elizabeth Eaton

A superb and very rare set of 4 sublime, Victorian, solid silver ladles. Each of the ladles is decorated in the Albert Pattern, and has an armorial engraved to the top of the handle. Each piece is a very heavy gauge silver and feels lovely to hold in the hand. The back of each terminal is clearly hallmarked for the London Assay Office with a date mark for 1855, along with the Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. The silvermaker''s mark is for the acclaimed lady Silversmith: Elizabeth Eaton, making them even more desirable to a collector!
