A most unusual and very pretty circular silver Pill Box. This box is a lovely plain polished silver with a lid that pulls off. Unusually, set in the centre of the top is a gorgeous citrine coloured stone. The inside of the box is a nice lemony gilt finish. Hallmarks are visible on the outside lip of the lid and on the base for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark for 1903 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. The silvermaker''s mark if also clear for C E Williams.
