Victorian Silver Pepperette In Original Case London 1884

A handsome Victorian silver pepperette, in the original case. The pepperette is a lovely baluster shape, with nicely patterned piercing to the pull off top and neat finial. It stands on a circular foot. Clear hallmarks are visible on one side for the London Assay office with a date mark for 1884 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. The maker''s mark is also clear for the silversmith: Thomas Bradbury & Sons.
 
 
 
This pepperette is presented in the original brown leatherette case, which is in lovely condition. Inside the case reveals a deep blue velvet pad for housing the pepperette and the inside of the lid is a lovely turquoise satin. This case is in lovely condition.
 
 
 
Condition: The silver pepperette is in great antique condition (There are two very slight dings on the lid and one around the lower half of the body (these are hardly noticeable and we mention them for accuracy only).
