A very stylish, Victorian, solid silver Sugar Bowl. The style is very ahead of it''s time and has an art deco appearance with two squared handles either side and a nicely fluted body. Clear hallmarks are visible on one side for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark of 1876 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver. The maker''s mark is also clear for the silversmith: John Millward Banks.
