Description

The rich colour and excellent condition of the original leather latticed seat and decorative brass studding, immediately attracted us to this oak Arts & Crafts 'x' framed stool. The thistle motif and style of seat both suggest a Scottish origin. The stool's oak frame is in good condition, its joints are strong with no movement. The leather has retained a wonderful lustrous surface. A lovely stool that would enhance any contemporary or period home.
