Description

Early 19th Century mahogany bookcase in the manor of Gillows, the bookcase top having a nice moulded cornice above two astrigal glazed doors with three adjustable shelves inside, the astrigals having nice carved decoration, the bottom section having three deep mahogany lined drawers with original brass handles above two panelled cupboard doors opening to reveal four pull out slides divided into two sections, supported on turned feet. Circa 1820.

All of Martlesham Antiques furniture is hand polished by their own French polishers and restorers to a very high standard. We are also a member of LAPADA, the association of art and antiques.
