Rare Edwardian Silver Triple Stamp Case Birmingham 1901

A rare Edwardian solid silver Triple stamp holder. The Lid of the holder is silver framed with three stamps behind glass on display. The spring loaded lid opens to reveal three different compartments to hold the stamps. It has a nice gilt wash finish. The base of the holder is attractively curved and stands on four neat ball feet.
 
Clear hallmarks are visible on the side for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark for 1901 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver, along with the silvermaker''s marks for Deakin & Francis Ltd.
