Here we have a beautiful George III Mahogany secretaire bookcase of compact proportions c1810. As you can see the bookcase has exceptional rich colour and patina. There is a chamfered pedimemt to the top section and two astragal glazed doors below. The doors retain the stunning original Georgian glass, working lock and key. Inside there are three fully adjustable shelves. The bottom section has a single drawer with original Lion mask handles and an internal fully fitted secretaire. The secretaire has an arrangement of Oak lined drawers with original handles and pigeon holes. The drawer retains the original mechanism and lock. There are two cupboard doors below with beautiful flame fronts which open to reveal a single interior shelf. The whole splits into two parts. This secretaire bookcase is in great retail condition and ready for your home. The compact dimensions are approx 75 inches high 37 wide and 17 deep.
