E W Cousins and Son has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The inset open top having protruding inlaid back brackets with splayed bases. The sides with kingwood banding and olive wood stringing with the same stringing to the stiles which flank 3 adjustable shelves having moulded fronts and leather dust covers. All with a small thumb moulded base. The cupboard base having an inverted breakfront with conforming banding and inlay over frieze again with kingwood banding and olive wood inlay with square panelled inlaid corner panels and moulding below. Over pair of panelled doors with deep moulded frames and kingwood bandiing and olive wood stringing. Flanked by fluted pillars with leaf carved tops and gadrooned vase shaped centre with gadrooned and turned bases. These pillars sit on the doors which open to a single adjustable shelf. The sides banded and inlaid as the top. All sitting on a inverted breakfront plinth base.
