Here we have for sale today this wonderful early 20th century 4 door library bookcase.
Manufactured in around 1920''s in this Sheridan manor, and all made in solid mahogany with oak interiors and backboards.
Standing on a plinth with this inverted breakfront.
The base section having 4 drawers over 4 panel doors, the doors enclosing 3 separate compartments each with a fixed interior shelf, the door framework has inlaid detail, with the center panel painted with this oval Prince of Wales plume of feathers.
The top section has a very well moulded corneas, with 4 large glazed doors, inlaid detail to the framework, with good glazing bars. The 4 doors enclosing 3 separate compartments, with each compartment having 3 interiors shelf''s with this adjustable ladder lo-pair system.
Its been into the workshop for a clean and re-polish and looks stunning with this medium mahogany colour (please see pictures).
This bookcase in solid in all its joints, with NO breaks, NO splits, N
...O woodworm.
