A very special solid silver Egg Cup. The engraving is charming and features a Hen, a Duck and a Cockerel. It stands on one circular foot. Clear hallmarks are visible on one side of the Egg Cup for the Birmingham Assay office with a date mark of 1939 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver. The maker''s marks are also very clear for the renowned silversmiths: Adie Brothers Ltd.
Lovely gift for a baby''s christening or Easter.
