George III Inlaid Mahogany Cabinet Bookcase

Description

Circa 1800, George III Sheraton-style inlaid mahogany cabinet bookcase. The moulded cornice with geometric satinwood inlay and Greek key decoration is over the upper section with two astragal-glazed, inlaid doors opening to adjustable shelving. The lower section has inlaid panelled doors opening to conforming sliding shelves. All supported on an inlaid enclosed plinth base.
