GILLOWS of LANCASTER: a truly superb quality Regency or William IV period mahogany LIBRARY BOOKCASE-CABINET in particularly fine original condition.

The upper section is surmounted by a fine cast and gilded gallery, below which is the glazed bookcase top (with original glass) which features two adjustable shelves making three in total. Further below are three well-figured doors which open to reveal adjustable shelves within. It is supported on typical Gillows "melon" carved feet. Complete with key and all six working locks. 66ins high including gallery.
