This Fine Continental Figured Walnut Antique Glazed Bookcase dates from the Victorian period ca. 1880. It has a moulded cornice above a glazed door with key and working lock. The interior has four adjustable shelves. The lower section has a deep drawer above a concealed plinth drawer and it stands on shaped feet. This beautiful antique bookcase has aged to a rich golden Walnut shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
