A superb solid silver spoon. This Victorian spoon (which is an extra large size teaspoon) has the most stunning engraving on the back. The bowl features a bird surrounded by lovely detailed flora and fauna with similar design on the handle. This fabulous engraving is continued on the front of the handle.
Clear crisp hallmarks are visible on the back of the handle for the London Assay Office with a date mark for 1896, along with the maker''s marks for Sibray, Hall & Co. The top of the spoon handle bears neatly engraved initials '' ACL''.
