Georgian mahogany secretaire bookcase C1800-1830 with built in desk / writing table. We have keys.

This is a lovely quality item, that is full of age, charm and character. A very decorative piece that a tremendous amount of work went into.

Solid with no loose joints. One of the best that you will find without OTT restoration.

Great age and patina (the best). Splits into 3 parts for transport (106cmH base, 114cmH top, 13cmH cornice).

Overall maximum dimensions: 113cm wide, 55cm deep, 233cm high. 97cm wide, 41cm deep, 81cm high writing surface. Adjustable shelves 100cm x 30cm in the top; press slides 100cm wide, 46cm deep in the bottom).

Some historic extinct woodworm holes (mainly in the back, so not visible) that have been treated for good measure. Some minor trim imperfections and part of the skirt of one drawer handle is missing.
