A very fine pair of solid silver Napkin Rings. Oval in shape, the napkins are decorated with an engine turned pattern and each has a rectangular shaped empty cartouch in the centre. Both napkins are fully hallmarked for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1944 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver. The silvermaker''s mark is also visible for ''I.S&S''
