Driscolls Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
1900. It has five stacking sections along with a moulded cornice and plinth. It consists of three glazed sections, a very rare secretaire section with elegantly carved fall front and a fitted interior with small drawers and pigeon holes and a four drawer lower section with the original brass decorative brass handles. The Oak has aged to a lovely warm golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
