A very fine and stylish solid silver bowl, fully hallmarked for the London Assay office with a date mark for 1949 and clear maker''s marks for Wakely & Wheeler on the underneath of the bowl.
The bowl is a lovely polished silver with no engravings or embossing which enhances the wonderful shape of the bowl. It sits on a circular fluted foot.
Very 1940''s vogue design. Would serve as a lovely bon bon or trinket bowl! In great antique collector''s condition.
